Sleep Advisor has provided us with a wonderful infographic showing how some of the most important novels started with a little sleep (as opposed to, say, night after night of bottomless coffee and insomnia).

I, for one, have discovered some of my best ideas on the cusp of sleep, but dreams often bring interesting characters, fascinating landscapes and mysterious (if nonsensical) messages from the depths of my subconscious.
