Write down a generic statement, such as “I like eating apples with Sandy”, then add footnotes to each of the words. Go into detail about what each constituent part of the sentence. Who is the I? who is Sandy? What kind of apples are they eating? What do you say in the margins that you wouldn’t otherwise say in the official text?
